Tailwater Properties (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates tailwaterproperties-trl.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at info@tailwaterprops.com or 417-544-0188.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on the Site (for example, to contact us, request a property valuation, sign up for our market report, or ask about buying a home), we collect what you enter. That usually includes your name, email address, phone number, and message, plus details you choose to share, such as the type of property you’re interested in or information about a property you own.
When a form is submitted, our form software also records your IP address and basic browser information. We use this to prevent spam and keep the Site secure.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, their general location (city or region), and the type of device and browser used. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We do not use this information to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map, which may set its own cookies when it loads. Google’s use of information is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the real estate, leasing, or rental services you ask about.
- To send you the market report or updates you signed up for. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To schedule tours and answer questions about our apartment communities.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To comply with the law and with our obligations as a licensed real estate brokerage.
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. We will not add you to automated text-message marketing without your separate consent.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Our website host, which stores the Site and the information submitted through it.
- Our email delivery provider, which delivers form notifications to our office.
- Google, for analytics and maps.
- Our property-listing provider, which powers the home and rental listing searches on the Site. If you register, save a search, or ask about a listing through those tools, the information you enter goes to that provider and to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. When you ask about buying, selling, or leasing, we may share relevant details with the other parties to that transaction (such as a lender, title company, or another agent) with your knowledge.
Links to other sites
The Site links to services we don’t operate, including RentRedi (rent payments, maintenance requests, and rental applications), U-Haul, and our social media pages. Information you give those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and related records for as long as we need them to serve you, keep accurate business records, and meet our legal and licensing obligations. Then we delete them.
Security
The Site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to submitted information is limited to our staff and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@tailwaterprops.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work.
- The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Children
The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
